Wandering the Globe, I have visited 80 countries on 6 of the 7 continents. I have seen my dreams unfold, enjoyed outdoor adventures, tours, safaris, animals and birds, museums, camping, sailing, cruising, food tours, artworks, hiking, biking, jumping from things, meditations and Law of Attraction workshops, religious ceremonies and rowdy get-togethers with maybe a bit to much to drink, I have danced to silent discos and watched amazing human feats performed on stage and I have merged with peoples from all cultures and backgrounds and come to understand that we are all the same .. we want to feel good! I can truly say that I have loved it all! Thank you to all who have been a part of this amazing journey called Life ...

Hi, I’m Sarah and welcome to Where in the World!

This blog began when I set out on a journey I never expected: traveling solo in my 50s after my kids had grown and flown the nest. With a suitcase in one hand and a whole lot of excitemement in the other, I decided it was time to rediscover who I am, one destination at a time.

As I wandered from place to place, my friends and family kept asking, “Where in the world are you now, Sarah?” and just like that, the name stuck.

Where in the World is my space to share stories, tips I have picked up, and honest reflections on traveling later in life, the challenges, the surprises, and the joy of starting over.

Whether you're dreaming of your first solo trip or just looking for a little inspiration, I’m so glad you’re here.
